Going Back

Going Back is set in Michigan in 1964 and is an independent feature film with all rights available. The story follows two young men just out of high school who leave their suburban neighborhood for a summer trip into Northern Michigan before starting college in the fall.

While hitchhiking, they are picked up by Jack Bodell, a handyman farmer who lives on an isolated farm. He invites the boys to stay overnight, and they end up spending two weeks living in a broken-down bunkhouse.

During their stay, one young man grows close to Jack as a father figure while Brice Chapman, played by Bruce Campbell, has a summer romance with a neighbor girl. Four years later, the two friends reunite in a college bar and decide to go back and recapture the nostalgia of the summer on Jack's farm.
